Registration is now open for the 2020 City Food Symposium: Harnessing the Power of Youth to Transform Food Systems for Health and Sustainability.
The aim of the event is to build further momentum throughout all areas of food policy towards effective engagement of youth and leadership by young people. The Symposium will showcase existing initiatives such as the Slow Food Youth Network, the Healthy Caribbean Coalition, Bite Back 2030, and the Children’s Food Inquiry. It will host workshops to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to get involved, whether it be learning how to engage young people through digital media or on campus, learning from young people on how to lead change, or how to listen to young people in research.
