The FAO Regional Conference for Africa (ARC 2018) is held once every two years, with attendees at the Ministers of Agriculture level expected; in addition to observers from countries outside the Region, international, regional and Arab Organizations. A series of high-level consultations will identify the priority areas to be taken into account in relation to establishing the longer-term programme objectives of the Organization considering the needs of the Region.
On the agenda, this year is a Ministerial Round Table on Zero Hunger titled, Achieving Zero Hunger: “Prospects Following the Malabo Declaration”.
